Revision Tip 2

Our second Revision Tip considers planning what topics to revise. Although it might make you feel good, it's not the most effective revision to focus on the topics you already know.

One way to use this approach is to compile a table listing topics and then columns for Minimal Knowledge, Some gaps and Confident. You can then tick where your current knowledge base falls for individual topics, updating the table as your revision progresses.

When planning your revision, remember not to just revise the green topics that you already know but don't just revise the red topics as this would be rather daunting! Try to balance out a mix within your Revision Plan.

This is an example for the first Unit of GCSE Statistics which you might find helpful as a template.
